Ceremony starts at 4:30PM EST, so you should plan on arriving at 4:00PM EST. The ceremony and reception are at the same location.
Um, do you even know us!!! We pick vacation locations because of food we want to try, so yes, we will have all types of food available, and guarantee you won't leave hungry...if you have any specific dietary needs, please let us know ahead of time so we can have a Lunchables box reserved for you :)
No, the ceremony and reception are outside, so please dress appropriately for the weather. Ladies might want to consider a light shawl/scarf if they tend to get cold at nite.
Although we highly suggest Uber or a car service so you can properly enjoy our full bar experience, there is secure parking and a valet service on site.
No, the Richmond Power Plant sits just down the road from the Sanitation Center, depending on which GPS program you use, the address may come up as either. Once you get off the highway, just follow the signs, you won't be able to miss the party!
No, this is NOT a kid friendly event! If you're unable to find a babysitter, we do have a waterpark set-up for the kids to play in if you decide you'd like to bring yours...(i.e. Children will be thrown into the river)
No, animals are not welcome. Ron's allergic to dogs and we don't want him saying "Ah-choo" when he's trying to say "I do". Service animals are not welcome...since we have no blind friends, there should be no seeing eye dogs. If you've recently lost your sight and forgot to inform us, we'll assign you a waiter to be your eyes for the evening. If you require an emotional support animal, we'll give you an extra shot of tequila when you arrive :)
It's a formal event, we suggest (and request) a tuxedo for men, gown for women...if you don't own a tuxedo (or fancy gown), a hawaiian shirt and vans are totally acceptable! Then again, we're really easy going and it's more important that you're able to attend, then you look like a penguin in our pictures.
No, masks are not required. We don't care if you are vaccinated or not, we are not going to ask anyone to wear a mask. If you decide you'd like to wear a mask, please make sure it has a funny saying on the front of it so we can chuckle as we look back through our pictures. The security guard at the gate will be checking all guests temps when they arrive as a precaution, so if you're feeling sick the day of, please just join us on the ZOOM broadcast.
While personal gifts would of course be loved, Lyndsay and I are very fortunate in that we want for nothing in our life but more time to spend with each other. We have intentionally NOT registered anywhere, because not only do we not need anything, more physical items in our life become a burden for storage (or more likely, duplicates of something we already have in storage and uncomfortable returns of thoughtful gestures!).
What we value the most is the time we can spend together, and the time
Yes, wide open, with a wide selection of our favorite drinks.
There is a 2 drink minimum however (and one of those had better be a shot of Tequuila or Jager!)
The fact that our wedding has no kids at it should give you a sense of our opinion and plans on having children.
All invites are intended for you and a guest! (or two, feel free to bring mulitple dates if you can't decide which one would be the most fun!)
Our life is already a honeymoon, so we are not planning to take a traditional honeymoon immediately. When our work schedules allow, we will be planning something very special. Please tell us about yours and your favorite places to travel when you see us.
